Founded by Paige Goldberg Tolmach and Soleil Moon Frye, The Little Seed is now one of the leading lifestyle brands for eco-friendly and organic products for children. Launched in 2008 asone-stop eco boutique in Los Angeles’s Larchmont neighborhood, it now reaches devoted customers across the globe! In 2010, The Little Seed launched it’s own line of brightly colored, incredibly soft, low-impact clothing for infants and children – coined Green in Every Color; it’s all manufactured here in the USA. They also collaborated with America’s favorite retailer, bringing the Little Seed’s eco-chic sensibility to Target stores across the country. Still operating from their original Larchmont location, Tolmach, Moon Frye, (and their fantastic team) continues to spread their love of the planet, and it’s youngest citizens, with innovative products, education and action.

Paige Goldberg
Soon after her son, Jackson’s birth, Paige Goldberg Tolmach’s son developed a case of severe eczema. Not finding relief, or many answers, in traditional treatments, Paige began looking for environmental causes and cures. Only after doing extensive research on her own and subsequently making dramatic lifestyle changes—ridding her home and cabinets of environmental toxins—did she cure her son. Tolmach’s difficulty in finding non-toxic products for her family spurred her to start The Little Seed and has made her a leading expert on environmental toxins and their effects on children. She now boasts a huge celebrity, and mommy, following and has been featured in several online and print media including The Los Angeles Times, People, Cookie Magazine, Babble.com, and TheCradle.com. She’s an active member of PETA and is a board member of the Environmental Media Association (EMA), where she inspires and mobilizes the entertainment industry to act on environmental issues. Paige lives in Los Angeles with her husband and wonderful son Jackson.
Soleil Moon Frye
Enthusiastic, spunky and positive, Punky Brewster was the quintessential eighties kid. Now, the always lovable girl, is all grown up, a married mom of two, an author, a designer, and a momtrepreneur parlaying her successful kids’ clothing line for The Little Seed, into a partnership with Target and a social media maven with over 1.4 million followers on twitter, and 100,000 Facebook fans. Today, Soleil has become a major force in the social media sphere, with moms and dads looking to her for all things parenting-related. Currently, she interacts with families all across the globe through multiple platforms including her own community Moonfrye.com. She is truly a pioneer in the mommy media space. Soleil will release her much anticipated first book Happy Chaos, which chronicles her ‘perfectly imperfect’ adventures in parenting on August 23. It portrays a humorous and helpful look at her freewheeling journey through parenthood; from her own childhood adventures to becoming a mother herself and a major voice in the mom space. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband Jason and their two daughters, Poet and Jagger.
